The KIDSWELL project aims to design and pilot a comprehensive TOOL KIT that introduces a holistic approach to strengthening Key Competence 5—personal, social, and learning-to-learn skills—among primary school children (ages 8–12) diagnosed with ADHD or exhibiting ADHD-related symptoms.
The goal is to enhance their well-being, learning capacity, peer communication, and school integration through the following key components:
Validated professional training (through micro-credentials) for Special Education Needs (SEN) and primary school teachers, improving their ability to support students with ADHD in both mainstream and specialized settings, while also upgrading their digital and teaching skills.
Development of a tailor-made VR game for educational and assessment purposes, using gamification to help children build personal and social skills such as communication, focus, memory, and emotional regulation (e.g., anxiety and anger management).
Interactive and participatory workshops for parents, equipping them with the tools to better support their children in facing personal, psychological, and social challenges.
Creation of an online ADHD AUDIT e-tool, enabling educators and parents to assess a child’s current status and receive a personalized action plan with recommended interventions based on individual needs.
