The Kick-Off Meeting (KoM) of the KIDSWELL Project – “Supporting
educators to ensure an inclusive learning environment for ADHD children
based on the introduction of emerging technologies for skills acquisition and
civic engagement” was successfully held online on 9 January 2025, hosted
by the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (Greece).
Representatives from all partner institutions in Greece, Cyprus, Poland, and
Portugal participated in the meeting, which marked the official launch of
project activities under the coordination of Dr. Athanasios Drigas.
The meeting provided an overview of the project’s objectives, structure, and
expected results, focusing on the development of:
- a holistic school approach for inclusive education,
- the KIDSWELL Education Toolkit,
- an Empowerment VR Game and Interactive Portal, and
- strategies for effective dissemination and sustainability.
Partners discussed management procedures, communication tools, quality
assurance, and dissemination actions, including the project’s visual identity,
website, and social media presence.
The KIDSWELL consortium reaffirmed its shared commitment to promoting
innovation, inclusion, and digital transformation in education, empowering
teachers and supporting children with ADHD across Europe.
